Summer is here, and with warmer days ahead, Green Office would like to invite you to a fun and interactive afternoon focused on staying safe in the sun, learning about climate change, and exploring sustainable energy!

Come by anytime during the event and take part in a variety of hands on activities:

• Bike Powered Smoothie Station
  Generate electricity by pedaling a bicycle and power a blender to make your own smoothie! This is a student project developed during the semester and a fun way to experience renewable energy in action.
   
• Make UV Visible
  Experiment with UV sensitive beads and discover how shade, clothing, hats, and sunscreen affect UV exposure.
   
• Cool Campus Map
  Help improve our campus by marking areas that need more shade, greenery, or better access to drinking water.

• Heat Survival Corner
  Learn simple tips about hydration, heat stress, and how to protect yourself during hot summer days.
   
• Climate & Campus
  Explore how climate change affects our daily lives and discover practical solutions for adapting to hotter summers.

There will be fun experiments, interesting discussions, prizes, and plenty of opportunities to learn something new while enjoying the outdoors.
