Participants will be introduced to key criteria for good and effective academic texts. This covers both the writing of publishable articles and the preparation of presentations for conferences and similar events. The focus is on criteria that are equally applicable to both written and oral forms of academic communication. In addition, however, the specific characteristics of academic writing and presenting are also examined.
