Broaden your horizons and benefit academically and personally from your participation in a DIT Summer School!
We offer summer schools for various topics here at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology. Read on to find out more details about our upcoming summer schools.
What are summer schools?
Summer schools are short block seminars between 1 and 4 weeks for bachelor, master, and doctoral students who are enrolled in a home university. They usually take place during summer breaks and are therefore an interesting alternative to a classic semester abroad.
During summer school, participants intensively study one specific topic to develop their knowledge up to the highest (research) level in this area in a short period of time. In addition to the technical input, participants can make new friends and enjoy a (touristic) support programme, while receiving ECTS points for their participation in the summer school. The basis for this is provided by study and examination regulations. Students will be temporarily enrolled at DIT for the duration of the summer school.
Perspective participants vary depending on the topic of each summer school; all areas of study from bachelor, master, and doctoral levels are possible. Find detailed information about admission requirements, applications, and fees at the respective summer school.
