Hooray, the University Mile in Deggendorf’s Veilchengasse is showing its party face again. Our colourful street festival offers a diverse programme with "Music | Beer Garden | DIT Up Close." Meet friends and enjoy delicious snacks and cool drinks from MAMA M!A and the Deggendorf Brewery in the beer garden. Celebrate to cool beats and experience DIT up close.

The university is opening its labs and offices at Veilchengasse 2, 3a, and 7. People of all ages can experiment, marvel, and participate at various indoor and outdoor stations. Experience fascinating AI worlds, exciting healthcare technology, the future technology quantum computing, interactive workshops, creative short films, and much more.

Experiment, Marvel and Enjoy

DIT offers a vibrant interactive programme from 5 pm to 9 pm at stands and in the rooms at Veilchengasse 2, 3a, and 7. Until 11 pm, you can unwind in the beer garden or dance and celebrate to our summer beats.

Continuous loop - Short Film Cinema– Veilchengasse 2, 1st Floor

  • Young filmmakers from Media Technology showcase their (master)pieces.
  • Popcorn and snacks for a real cinema experience with the association Burning Cinema - Hochschulkino Deggendorf e.V.

 

Open Startup Lab – Veilchengasse 2, 2nd Floor

  • Centre for Start-Up Support and DIT Start-Ups introduce themselves.
  • Tours of the premises in the former Schötz building.
  • Wheel of Fortune.

AI Experiments – Smart-Lab in Veilchengasse 7

  • Try out applied computer science yourself.
  • AI creates art and deepfakes.
  • VR trip to the Zugspitze and 3D Deggendorf puzzle.

STEM Workshops for Kids
