The primary goal is to facilitate the transition into the professional world for students and to increase their chances on the job market. The Career Service offers students the opportunity to acquire additional qualifications in addition to intensive counseling.

The Language and Electives Centre offers various language courses, placement tests and certificates, as well as non-language subjects of a general academic nature (elective (AWP) course), a language tandem programme, annual language trips and much more.

Our DIT Women's Representative and the Women's Representatives in the individual faculties are contact points for professors, teaching staff and students at the university regarding women's issues of all kinds. The contact people in the psychosocial counselling service support you in current life crises, with psychological complaints in all areas and with all personal problems that you find stressful.
This is the contact point for students with disabilities and chronic illnesses to clarify questions and problems and find individual solutions. You will receive comprehensive advice and information about study opportunities, study conditions, career prospects, financing issues and the situation at the place of study.
