Has over 30 years of experience and has significantly contributed to national and international communication technologies. He was the 2015 director of the SFI Offshore Mechatronics and a key figure behind UiA's Mechatronics Innovation Lab. Since 1995, at Ericsson Sweden, he has led developments in wireless technologies and managed European research projects. Reichert founded Ericsson Cyberlab Singapore, focusing on user-centric design. Holding a Ph.D. from Aachen University, he has also advised the European Commission on R&D projects.
