Horst Kunhardt, MSc, PhD (Computer Science and Human Biology), professor (born March 15, 1959 in Germany), is Vice President of Health Sciences at Deggendorf University of Applied Science (Deggendorf Institute of Technology, DIT) in Bavaria, Germany, and Director of the European Campus Rottal-Inn of DIT. He has been working as a professor since 2004 in the fields of Operational and Application Systems and Health Management. He is lecturing in a number of bachelor and master study programs in German and English, on various topics in eHealth, Telemedicine and Healthcare ICT, Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, Networks, ITSecurity, IT Forensics, Health and Medical Tourism, and Health Economics.
