The Start-up Roundtable is back – this time with a topic that will spark everyone’s creative streak: innovation in business – the courage to try something new.

Do you know that moment when an idea suddenly pops into your head – but you don’t yet know how it can be turned into something truly new? That’s exactly where we come in: how creative processes work, how fresh perspectives emerge, and why failed attempts are often the starting point for really good solutions. Prof. Dipl.-Des. Kostas Medugorac will demonstrate how innovative approaches emerge in design and which creative techniques help to develop ideas further and boldly try out new things.

Brief profile: Kostas Medugorac is an industrial designer, design consultant and creative coach. He works for international companies such as Mercedes‑Benz, Mettler‑Toledo and Carl Zeiss Meditec. His work has won numerous awards and has been exhibited at the Pinakothek der Moderne. As a professor, he combines practical experience with his passion for creative development.

Afterwards, there’ll be time for a chat: grab a drink, tell others about your idea and hear what they’re currently working on. Good conversations, fresh perspectives and the chance to meet people who share your energy – that’s exactly what the Stammtisch is all about.
