Habib's adjustment to Germany

For Habib, one of the biggest differences between his home country and Pfarrkirchen is the temperature. While winters further north get really cold, in Benin it usually doesn´t drop below 17 degrees Celsius. So it took some time to get used to these differences.

Something that fascinates Habib is language. The official language in Benin is French, but there are 53 other languages and dialects spoken. Habib´s favourite German word is “doch”. He says it is very expressive, even though it has no literal translation in his mother tongue, French. This is something that happens very rarely and fascinates Habib.
