Dr Robin Vicken Ohannessian MD MPH PhD is a medical doctor specialized in public health and global expert advisor in digital health and telehealth who brings in 10 years of global telehealth expertise.
He is the founder and CEO of Vickino health innovation company driving transformation of health systems.
He is as well the president of the Armenian Association of Digital Health (AADH) and Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Public Health in Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU). He is also expert advisor in telemedicine for the Council of Europe in Armenia to develop a national telemedicine network in prisons, and is lecturer in telemedicine for the Master of Digital Health in Russian Armenian University.
He graduated as Medical Doctor and Master of Public Health from Université Lyon 1 and holds a PhD in neurosciences focuses on telemedicine applications in stroke from University Bourgogne Franche Comté as well as post-graduate degree in vaccinology and prevention of infectious diseases from Université Paris Cité. He was previously Board Member of the French Society of Telemedicine and French Society of Digital Health as well as member of the Digital Public Health Committee of EUPHA.
He has collaborated with various UN entities such as WHO, ITU, UNFPA, Ministries of Health, Startups and Health Industry in more than 20 countries.
