Online conference ”Digital Healthcare”

Online conference on digitalisation in health care

3.11.2020 | THD-Pressestelle

Encouraged by the current situation, the focus is currently on the healthcare system and how to provide rapid medical care. To this end, the online event "Digital Health Care" of the European Campus Rottal-Inn (ECRI) in cooperation with the European Region Danube-Moldova (EDM) will take place on 12 November from 8.50 to 13.30. Anyone who is interested can register now.

The times are up for a storm and new, innovative solutions in the health care sector are in demand. In rural areas in particular, it is becoming increasingly difficult to provide medical care that is tailored to the needs of people living close to their homes. Where is the research currently at and what solutions for digital health care are already being implemented by industry? Bavarian, Austrian and Czech experts from the fields of medicine, business and science will provide a look behind the scenes to answer these questions. The online conference "Digital Health Care" will focus in particular on digitalisation in cardiology, Covid-19 as an innovation driver for research and business, and the future of cross-border health care in Bavaria, Austria and the Czech Republic.

The online event is free of charge. It will be held bilingually, in German and Czech, with simultaneous translation. Those interested can register for the conference via the homepage of the Danube-Moldova European Region (https://bit.ly/3oRZftA).

The online event "Digital Health Care" is organised by ECRI together with EDM. EDM is a trilateral working group with seven partner regions in Bavaria, Austria and the Czech Republic. EDM is dedicated to promoting cooperation and the further development of the EDM area. The focus is on Industry 4.0, Health, Tourism and Language.

Bild (ECRI / DIT): Anna E. Schmaus-Klughammer, LL.B hons., and Prof. Dr. Thomas Spittler (from left to right) initiated the conference and look forward to a day full of exciting topics on digital health care.
